The national coordinator of the Oodua People's Congress (OPC), Gani Adams, has described the group’s success over the Badoo cultists in Ikorodu as proof that the OPC remains a potent force in the defence of Yoruba interest.
Speaking during a training organized by the Lagos chapter of OPC in Agidigbi, Ikeja, on Tuesday, July 11, the OPC leader said the group remains consistent in the defence of Yoruba interests, despite consistent assault from political forces within the zone.
Gani Adams assured the Yoruba nation that the OPC will not abandon them.
He however said that different time requires different strategists, noting that the focus remains the same.
Meanwhile, Lagos state police command has arrested 87 suspected members of Badoo cult group while declaring 20 others wanted.
The 87 suspected Badoo members were nabbed in their hideouts in Owutu and Odongunyan in Ikorodu area of the state in the late hours of Thursday, July 6.
As part of its investigation, NAIJ.com gathered that the police declared the names of the wanted cult members as Moshood (a.k.a Mosho); Alfa (a.k.a King of Boys); Papa; Fela; Alakoto and Chukwudi
Agbara; O/C; Femi (a.k.a FM); Pencil, Odidan; Jaru; Allen; Bush; Happiness; Fagbo; Junior; Nuru and Jamiu.
The command also called on Nigerians to support them with useful information on how the suspects can be arrested
